Now that Bunded Tanks are a legal requirement at most new and replacement heating oil storage tank installations across the UK, the new 1200BND/ENV model builds upon the success of Harlequin's single skin 1200LPA model - and successfully combines it with the acknowledged environmental benefits of integral bunding. At less than a metre tall, Harlequin's new 1200 litre Low Profile Bunded Oil Tank can nestle undisturbed in almost any location. It can be easily concealed behind a dry stone wall - making it an ideal choice for installation at traditionally constructed properties throughout rural Britain.
However, whilst the 1200BND/ENV may be small in terms of height, it is big in terms of specification and value! Featuring the very same, high added value specification as other members of Harlequin's Bunded Oil Tank range, the 1200BND/ENV is supplied complete with factory fitted fill, vent and inspection points, lockable manhole access, dipstick and Apollo electronic oil tank contents gauge.
To eliminate the risk of spillage during delivery, the tank also features inbuilt protection against overfills, courtesy of Harlequin's failsafe LRC Overfill Prevention System. Already established as the norm for environmentally responsible fuel distributors across Europe, the LRC system allows drivers to remotely control the filling operation from the tank and is proven to eliminate overfills during refuelling. A welcome and low-liability alternative to old-fashioned and sometimes unreliable, mechanical overfill prevention valves, LRC type systems are now being embraced by environmentally conscious fuel distributors across the British Isles too.
A choice of both top and bottom outlets are available on the 1200BND/ENV model.
